Title: Genetic toxicology and molecular insights in plant biotechnology: Advancing crop innovation

Abstract

Plant biotechnology has emerged as a transformative field in addressing global food security and agricultural sustainability. My research focuses on genetic toxicology and molecular mechanisms that influence plant genome stability, with emphasis on cytogenetic and molecular approaches to evaluate mutagenic and genotoxic effects in crop species. Integrating genetic toxicology with plant molecular biology provides novel insights into genome editing, stress tolerance, and crop improvement strategies. This presentation will highlight experimental findings and methodologies that bridge fundamental genetics with applied biotechnology, offering innovative perspectives for enhancing crop resilience and productivity.
