Biography

Dr. Vijayan Gurumurthy Iyer is a Senior Professional Engineer, Doctor, and Director of Dr. Vijayan Gurumurthy Iyer Techno-Economic-Environmental Study and Check Consultancy Services, Chennai, India. He holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad, and has extensive academic and professional experience in environmental science, environmental engineering, water pollution, waste management, and sustainability. He has served in various academic positions, including Professor, Principal, Dean, and Guest Lecturer at several institutions in India and abroad. His research interests include environmental impact assessment, water and wastewater management, pollution control, environmental sustainability, and environmental engineering. He has contributed to more than 362 SCI/ISI-indexed publications, numerous eBook chapters, and other research publications, and has served as an editor, editorial board member, and reviewer for various international journals and publications. He has also delivered plenary and invited lectures internationally and has participated as a Keynote Speaker at various academic and scientific forums.
