Hanna Janska is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Cellular Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Wroclaw, Poland. She earned her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wroclaw and has conducted extensive research in plant molecular biology and mitochondrial biology. Her research focuses on plant mitochondria, mitochondrial proteases, mitoribosomes, mitochondrial gene expression, respiratory function, and protein quality control. She has published extensively in international scientific journals and contributed significantly to understanding mitochondrial processes in Arabidopsis thaliana. Her work combines molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, transcriptomics, and proteomics to investigate plant mitochondrial function, development, and stress responses.
