Biography

Dr. Olena Volodymyrivna Bilynska, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Senior Researcher, heads the Laboratory of Genetics, Biotechnology and Quality at the Yuriev Plant Production Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Her research focuses on experimental haploidy in barley and sunflower, including in vitro androgenesis and doubled haploid production technologies, as well as quality assessment of agricultural crops. She has contributed to the development of nutrient media and pretreatment methods for haploid production.
