Biography
Poonam Kundal is a PhD Scholar at the Institute of Biotechnology, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J), India. Her research focuses on CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing for rice improvement, with particular emphasis on developing semi-dwarf Basmati rice through targeted editing of the sd1 gene. Her research interests include plant biotechnology, genome editing, molecular biology, tissue culture, and crop improvement
